This is my all time favorite stitching tool!

This versatile needlework stand works for a variety of projects-- whether your passion is cross-stitch, needlepoint, crewel, embroidery, or quilting. It also provides an attractive furniture quality frame while your project is in progress.

The twin pillar legs construction provides a stable platform for all your projects. The whole scroll frame can rotate a full 360° for quick, easy access to the back of your project.

The adjustable side extender bars allows placement of your frame to best suit your seating position and the position of your project for either lap or table use.

Assembly is simple and can be completed within minutes without any tools required. This sturdy frame is fashioned from solid American Red Oak and hand finished with Golden Oak oil stain.

The EZ Needlework Lap Stand Includes:
  • 2 side support pillar legs
  • 2 adjustable side bars 12"
  • 2 heavy duty scroll rods with Tape for Rods 20"
  • 2 spacers
  • 1 roll of Tape for Fabric (3 yards)
  • 10 knobs

This lap stand uses the no basting system. The E-Z Stitch® No Basting System comes in two parts. The first part is attached to the scroll rods and the second part you can attach to your fabric. I like to fray the top and bottom of my fabric-- that way I have a straight line. This way once I have placed the tape on the fabric and attach it to the bars, I know my tension will be even from top to bottom.
One of the benefits of having a lap stand is that now you can stitch with both hands. I have found that not only is stitching with both hands much faster, but my stitches look much neater and straight.

Another benefit is that my hands scarcely touch the fabric now, so no more dirty, stained fabric when you are done with a piece.

TIP... With the EZ Stitch Lap stand there is a screw , that screw goes through the Side Bar the Spacer then the Leg. Then a knob is attached and tightened to secure it in to place. That knob should be loosened before you flip it over to get to the back of your work. Then once you flip it back use a screwdriver to tighten it back down and secure the frame into place.
